Oppenheimer Wins Fourth-Straight Tournament, Mustangs Win Eastern Invite

WAYNE, Pa. - Sophomore Casey Oppenheimer picked up her fourth-straight tournament win and fifth overall after carding a nine-over par 79 at the Eastern Invitational, held at St. David's Golf Club. The Mustangs picked up their fifth team title of the year with a total score of 341 (+61), 27 strokes better than second-place and host Eastern.

Junior Emma VanDeCar carded a 14-over par 84 to take third overall, for her third top-10 finish on the year.

Both junior Elise Glauser, who played as an individual, and sophomore Amanda Perez finished tied for fifth with scores of 88 (+18). Perez now has five top-5's on the year.

Completing the team score for Stevenson was junior Laura Rentz, who shot a 90 to finish tied for ninth overall. Rentz now has five top-10 finishes this season. 

Freshman Holly Haber (played as individual) and senior Julia Kline carded scores of 91 and 93 for the Mustangs, respectively.

Stevenson concludes its successful fall season at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational, held at the Lebanon Valley Country Club, on Friday, October 25 at 12:00 p.m.
