OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson University men's soccer team opens its 2019 campaign with a pair of home games the weekend of August 30-31. The Mustangs host Neumann on Friday, August 30 at 7 pm, then entertain DeSales the following day in a 4 pm kickoff at Mustang Stadium. Stevenson has 19 games on this year's docket.
Stevenson has eight games slated for September, all against non-conference foes, although two will be in the MAC Commonwealth for the 2020 campaign. The Mustangs travel to York (Pa.), which joins the MAC and the MAC Commonwealth next fall, on Wednesday, September 4, and heads to Eastern, which will switch from the MAC Freedom to MAC Commonwealth, on Saturday, September 28. Stevenson also hosts new MAC Freedom member Stevens on Saturday, September 21.
The Mustangs also host Gettysburg on Wednesday, September 11 and Immaculata on Wednesday, September 25.
After wrapping up the non-conference slate at Wesley on October 2, Stevenson opens MAC Commonwealth action Saturday, October 5 against Albright at Mustang Stadium at 7:30 pm. The Mustangs also have home conference games against Lebanon Valley (Oct. 8), Lycoming (Oct. 19) and Widener (Oct. 25). Stevenson wraps up the regular season at Arcadia on Saturday, November 2.
The five-team MAC Commonwealth Championship opens with a first round game on Monday, November 4, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday, November 6 and the title match on Saturday, November 9.
Stevenson finished 12-9-1 overall last season, reaching the MAC Commonwealth semifinals and ECAC quarterfinals.
