Brooke Morris, Kaitlin Karns Named Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Stevenson University field hockey team had a pair of players named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference team announced Friday morning.  Junior Brooke Morris and sophomore Kaitlin Karns were each named to the Second Team.

For Morris, it marks her second consecutive All-Conference selection, as she was Honorable Mention in 2018.  This season, Morris finished with a team-high seven assists and also tallied five goals for a total of 17 points.  She totaled a goal and three assists in a win over Notre Dame (Md.) and registered a pair of assists in a triumph over Hood.

Karns led the Mustangs in scoring, finishing the season with 10 goals and a pair of assists for 22 points.  She posted hat tricks in victories over Notre Dame and Lancaster Bible and also had the game-winning goal in a 3-2 MAC Commonwealth win against Arcadia.  Karns led the Mustangs with four game-winning goals on the season.
