Dave Trumbo to Hold Annual Spike It! Volleyball Camp

STEVENSON, Md. - Stevenson University women's volleyball head coach and former Liberty High coach Dave Trumbo will be holding his third annual "Spike-It" Volleyball Camp June 22-26 and August 3-7 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The camp is designed for athletes in grades 10-12 or experienced club players entering ninth grade. The cost for one-week session is $250 or $400 for both weeks. The camp is limited to the first 50 participants that register for each week so applicants are encouraged to register early.
Trumbo has over 27 years of volleyball coaching and officiating experience. In two seasons at Stevenson, he has a record of 53-19, including a mark of 32-8 last season when the Mustangs set a school record for wins in a season for the second-straight year and advanced to the semifinals of the ECAC Division III South Championship.
In 10 seasons as the head coach at Liberty High School, Trumbo had a record of 167-31 and was named 2003 Baltimore Metro Coach of the Year. He led the Lions to seven Class 2A state championship appearances, two state titles, nine Carroll County championships and seven West Region titles.
Joining Trumbo is Stevenson head men's volleyball coach Jeff Blake who led the Mustangs to a school record 15 wins in 2006 and 2008 as well as the team's first-ever appearance in the NECVA Championships in 2006. The team is currently 14-8 this season.
