Jason Cohen

Cohen is a USPTA certified tennis professional who is entering his third year as the head men's tennis coach at Stevenson and second as the women's head coach.
In his first season as the women's coach, Cohen improved a team that had a 1-14 record in 2008 to 5-12-1 in 2009 while competing in the highly-regarded CAC.
The men's team also improved its finish in the CAC a year ago, finishing fourth behind two nationally-ranked teams in Mary Washington and Salisbury. The Mustangs also hosted a match in the CAC Men's Tennis Championship for the first time in school history.
In addition to Stevenson, Cohen also works as the Director of Player Development at Greenspring Racquet Club in Lutherville where he works with many of the junior players at the club teaching group and private lessons. He assists with the Competitive Training Center and runs junior and adult tournaments.
Cohen has also worked junior tennis camps at Pepperdine and Salisbury. At Pepperdine, he had the chance to work for Adam Steinberg who led the Waves to the 2006 NCAA Division I national championship.
In 2007, Cohen graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Stevenson where he holds the school records with 39 singles victories and 36 double victories. A three-year captain, he played four seasons for the Mustangs' at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, leading the team to NEAC championships in 2006 and 2007.
Cohen also spent four years as the men's tennis representative on the Stevenson Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as president as a senior. He also represented Stevenson at SAAC meetings for the Maryland Association of College Directors of Athletics meetings and the NEAC.

Jason Goldman-Petri

Goldman-Petri is a USPTA certified tennis professional who teaches at the Tennis Institute at Greenspring Racquet Club. During the summer months, he teaches at Homeland Racquet Club.
Goldman-Petri has extensive knowledge working with doubles and is also ranked in the top 150 of the Mid-Atlantic USTA Open rankings.
