Mustangs Sweep Lancaster Bible in First Home Match

STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson University women's tennis team picked up its first victory in its second match of the season, sweeping all seven contested matches en route to a 9-0 victory over Lancaster Bible Tuesday on the Greenspring campus.

Freshmen Maura Bernstein and Izzy Kaizer each won their second consecutive matches with Bernstein picking up her first at No. 2 singles. She then teammed with senior Samantha Rasnake to earned his second-straight doubles victory.

In her first collegiate match, freshman Dorothy Lemon notched her first win at No. 5 singles.

The Mustangs travel to Goucher this weekend to compete in the two-day Goucher Open with Moravian, Penn State-Behrend, Frostburg State, Gwynedd Mercy, the College of Notre Dame (Md.), Richard Stockton and Goucher.
