Mustangs Finish Solid in Hood Invite

Frederick, MD- The Mustangs competed in the Hood College Campus 5K Invitational yesterday morning. The women's team came in second place with a team total of 1:54:01, averaging 22:48.20, and the men's team competed individually. Both Hood's men and women's team came in first place.

Joe Spurrier came in 6^th place with a time of 18:19. He was also the top Mustang to finish between both teams. Montgomery Smith finished in 15^th with a time of 19:39 and Phil Harkins finished at 22:26 in 19^th place.

The women's team took over the top 10 with Lindsay Koepper finishing in 6^th at 21:58, Kristina Bolard finishing in 7^th at 22:06, and Nichole Nash finishing in 8^th at 22:14. Cathy Kerns finished at 23:40 in 11^th place and Claire Beck finished at 24:03 in 12^th place. Lauren Redding finished at 24:32 in 15^th place for the event.
