Jason is a USPTA certified tennis professional who is entering his second year as coach at Stevenson. Jason is currently ranked in the top 150 in the most recent Mid-Atlantic USTA Open rankings. Jason also works as a web developer at the National Association of Credit Management along side coaching at Stevenson.
Cohen graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Stevenson University in 2007. He was a four year member of the tennis team here at SU. He played #1 singles every match of his career and #1 doubles every match except for one. He was team captain for his final three seasons. In his junior year Jason led his team to their first NEAC Championship compiling a singles record of 12-7 finishing runner up in the NEAC tournament at #1 singles. In doubles Jason teamed with Ryan Morse to go 14-4 and win the #1 doubles flight in the NEAC tournament. In Jason's senior year he improved his singles record to 13-6 while once again finishing runner up in the NEAC finals. He teamed again with Ryan Morse to have an 11-6 record and once again capturing the NEAC Tournament #1 flight in doubles. During Jason's senior year he set Villa Julie Records for most career singles victories with 39 and most career doubles victories at 36. Jason was involved in other aspects of athletics at VJC as he represented the tennis team at the Student Athletic Advisory Committee for four years, serving as its president in his senior year. He also represented VJC at the MACDA meetings and the NEAC SAAC.
Before Stevenson, Jason attended Fallston High School in Fallston, MD. He played #1 singles for 3 years and was captain his senior year. He finished 2nd in the region and advanced to the MD State Tournament in singles in his senior year as well. Jason has experience teaching tennis through individual and group lessons through Forest Hill, Fallston, and Churchville Recreation Council.

Jason Goldman-Petri

Jason is a USPTA certified tennis professional who teaches at
the Tennis Institute within Greenspring Racquet Club. During the
summer months he teaches at Homeland racquet club. Jason brings
valuable doubles knowledge to the team this season and looks to
improve that aspect of the team. Jason is also currently ranked in
the top 150 in the most recent Mid-Atlantic USTA Open rankings.
