HERSHEY, PA. - The Stevenson men's golf team won a tiebreaker over Muhlenberg to take the team title at the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational held at Hershey Country Club East. The Mustang "Green" team, who finished with a team score of 302, won the tiebreaker due to their fifth player having the lower score. Stevenson has now won this tournament in two of the last three years.
Sophomore Matthew Maione fired a one-over par 72 to take second-place overall, giving him his first career top-five finish. Maione's 72 matches his second-lowest collegiate round and is one stroke off of his career best, which took place at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational on 10/16/2016.
Sophomore Wynn Geis, who competed on the Stevenson "White" team, finished third overall with a career-low score of 73. Geis now has two career top-five finishes.
