Lukehart Receives Second CAC Golfer of the Week Honor

YORK, Pa. - On Tuesday, Stevenson University men's golf junior Matt Lukehart (Bel Air/Mt. Carmel) was named the CAC Golf Athlete of the Week for the second time this year after registering two top-five finishes last week and posting a 74.5 average over two rounds.

Tuesday's selection is the third for the Mustangs this season after Lukehart received his first honor on September 16 and senior Cliff Mangle (Westminster/Westminster) was selected on October 14.

Last week, Lukehart finished tied for first at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational with a one-over par 73, helping the Mustangs to a ninth-place team finish.

Lukehart has registered the team's top three rounds this spring and is averaging 77.5 per round. He also has two top five finishes and one top-10 finish.

Stevenson returns to action on Monday, April 6 at the LVC Invitational at Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
