Mustangs' Greg Woody Named to All-CAC Second Team

STEVENSON, Md. - Stevenson University men's basketball junior guard Greg Woody (Baltimore/Mount Saint Joseph) was named to the All-CAC Second Team on Tuesday, marking his second consecutive all-conference selection.

Woody led the team in scoring this season and was ranked forth in the CAC, averaging 18.2 points per game. He totaled nine games with 20 or more points, including three with 30 or more. Against Catholic on November 22, he tied his career high with 35 points while hitting six three-pointers.

Woody also led the team and ranked fifth in the conference with 55 three-pointers this season while averaging 3.1 rebounds per game and totaling a team-high 40 steals. He was third on the team in assists with 33.

After averaging 21.0 points and 5.5 rebounds and totaling nine three-pointers against St. Mary's (Md.) and York (Pa.), Woody was named Provident Pride Player of the Week on December 8.

Woody became the seventh player in school history to score 1,000 career points when he had 25 in 79-75 victory over Hood at home on January 21. He will begin his final collegiate season ranked fourth on the school's career scoring list with 1,156 points.

Woody was also named All-CAC Second Team a year ago after finishing the season fourth in the CAC in scoring at 19.8 points per game.
