2008 Dance Team Tryouts Announced

STEVENSON, MD - The Stevenson University Dance Team will be holding try-outs on Sunday, September 14th at 9:00 a.m. in the Student Union Gymnasium on the Greenspring Campus.  Please bring a snack, water bottle and please wear a leotard or tight tank top, tights or jazz pants, and jazz shoes. Try-outs consist of doing across the floor, turns, leaps and learning two short routines for judging.

Joining the Stevenson University dance team is a great way to get involved with the school and meet new friends.  The team performs at various school functions such as basketball games, lacrosse games and special events. 

The dance team also performs at Baltimore Blast half time shows, for other college dance shows and competes with UDA in Orlando, Florida.  The team competes in the jazz category and the hip hop category at UDA against other Division III schools around the country. The dance team practices three times a week and runs their season from September to January. Please come and be a part of a great team!  
 
VERY IMPORTANT
In order to try-out, you MUST have an on campus physical.  If you have not had one yet and want to try-out, please CONTACT coach Samantha Levy at SCLEVY@stevenson.edu to obtain physical information.  Again, you cannot try-out with out this!  The physical forms are located below:
