Stevenson Dance Competes at UDA Championships

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson University dance team was one of 152 colleges and universities from 43 states who recently competed in the 2009 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Stevenson was one of 31 teams that participated in the open dance competition and one of 25 to perform in the open hip hop division.

Produced by the Universal Dance Association, this prestigious competition is in its 25th year and showcases the country's best dance teams from schools all across the nation, including schools from the NCAA in Division I, II and III as well as NAIA.
