Title: Graduate Assistant

Nathan Roling joins the Stevenson University baseball coaching staff for his first season as the graduate assistant in 2009. His main responsibilities are to monitor the academics of the student athletes, coordinate tutoring and monitor study halls. He will also serve as the head coach for the junior varsity program, first base coach and be responsible for mentoring the catchers.
A 2008 graduate of Loras College with a bachelor's degree in sport management and business, Roling is currently working on his master's degree in business and technology management at Stevenson.
The Dubuque, Iowa native was a two-time academic All-Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection at Loras and served as a team captain for the Duhawks as a senior.
Prior to Loras, Roling spent one year at Iowa Central Community College.
Roling has an extensive background working camps and clinics as a hitting and catcher instructor. He spent the 2008 summer as the head coach for the Dubuque Wahlert High school freshman gold team.
He currently resides in Catonsville.
