Penczek joined the Stevenson athletic department in July 2006 as the Mustangs' Head Athletic Trainer.  Prior to arriving at Stevenson, he spent two years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, primarily overseeing the health and well-being of the men's soccer and wrestling teams.

He completed his Master of Science at Louisiana State University in 2004, during which time he worked with their nationally ranked Women's Gymnastics team.  That augmented his undergraduate degree earned at Salisbury University, from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2001.

Penczek is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, as well as the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association.

A Baltimore native, Penczek is a 1992 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School.  Greg and his wife Kristen reside in Hampstead and are the proud parents of daughter, Emma Ruth, born in September of 2006.
